Rationale
Yesterday i showed Blender to A friend.
First thing i taught him was orbiting around. As soon as i said "You can orbit around with the middle mouse button" he started rotating the view. And after a few seconds he said "I'm completely lost".
Trackball stands in the way of the learning curve.
