There is only one ctrl key in a mac keyboard, at the very bottom-left corner of it; but there is two command keys, at the middle of the keyboard, also every nicely integrated software in mac uses the command, shift and alt keys most, as they make usability a lot better by their positioning and be causes there are two of each.
