Rationale

When I select a number of objects and then apply a modifier, a material, a group, or almost anything except a basic transformation (move, rotate or scale), only the last selected object is affected. I want anything that one can do to an object to be possible to do to all selected objects. I don't want to pick each of 45 objects individually and give them the same red material, just because I forgot to color a bunch of berries :(

Don't reassign a thing to each object.
Use Ctrl L to make Links.
Use Add-On Copy Attributes Menu.
Do a right click and do a copy to selected.

Applying to selection is already a todo since a long time.
