The wireframe material has only one thicknesss /to thick/ and it's limiting artistic freedom

I'm seeking for such a convenient and straight forward way OUT OF NODES, AND WITH CONFIGURALBE THICKNESS, too. Totally expect to such cool feature!

A related suggestion would be that a Material's "Strand" settings should also be applicable when the strands are not hair particles. Currently, the Strand works great for hair particles, but when you have simple Edges (with no Faces, meaning Strands), then, strangely, the Strand settings don't work, so you have to use the Wire Material.
