Rationale
It would be nice for developers to take from popular ideas an idea they want to work on - or are already work on.

This would show to the user also who is working on a solution and would function as a communication point.

Show in ideas in development and implemented ideas who worked on it. Should be possible also to mark developer names who are not (yet) registered with Blenderstorm.

What would be the criteria for getting a developer role? Just asking or moderators deciding after submitting x patches?

Along these lines - just wondering where the line is for in development and implemented.

Is in development when someone is coding for it, or when it is being reviewed by blender committers?

Is implemented when a patch has been created or when it has been applied to blender svn?

I would go with development being someone coding for it and implemented as committed to blender svn. Comments could track when it is submitted for review and whether it is being reviewed or re-worked to get acceptance.

Whether you have or don't have write access to the SVN, you still can get developer role. You'd be asking me and link to at least one patch of work you're conducting.

If working on a patch, and it's sent in for review, I'd say implementationally it'd be close to 100% implemented. For Blenderstorm I was thinking of having another status: [Accepted/Committed in SVN]. So that way we could know that the code has been written, but probably only pending review by core developers.
