Rationale
Much faster than creating text bitmaps.
Would eliminate significant time waste updating text masks in external programs.

This should also allow an importing of subtitle files e.g .SRT.
Currently I just get the video from VSE and edit an subtitle file separately and use mencoder to compose the subtitles with the video.
The most inconvenience is that the timeline info need by subtitle file can not be easily extracted from VSE that I need to do it manually, positioning the cursor to the start frame, reading the time, and manually typing it down to a subtitle file, the the end frame, then the next subtitle.
