One thing i miss in Blender is that you cannot zoom out with the zoom border tool. Zooming in is an eyeblink as it should be, zooming out hard work then.

The zoom border should have an option to allow zoom out too. In another app it works like this: selecting a rectangle from left to right zooms in. Selecting a rectangle from right to left zooms out. The vector is already there for zooming in. You just need to move the camera into the opposite direction. And this negative value comes from selecting a rectangle in the other direction.
